Plus you'll get to fish for tuna along the way, snorkle and play with Spotted Dolphins and dive incredible sites, complete with wrecks, caves and more. Packing as much diving and shark encounters as we can into 7 days is what this is latest adventure is all about.
Dolphin
You and 10 other divers will join Shark Diver for seven days out of West Palm Beach Florida aboard the Bahamas latest long range live aboard "The Dolphin Dream". She is an 86ft expedition trawler re-designed to take 10 divers in safety and comfort. She offers you the most unique and exciting scuba diving available. The 7 day schedule is flexible, with a high emphasis on sharks and shark encounters. The size of this vessel and stablilty in seas makes her our first choice. She's like a Tahoe Ski Cabin, laid back, comfortable and very easy for our divers.
Day 1 Saturday
Welcome to Palm Beach, Florida. Check in between 4.00pm-7.00pm. Time to unpack, and familiarize yourself with your floating home for the week. Once you have settled in you are free to join us for dinner of fresh Grouper Tacos and a cool beer. When we return an orientation will be given on emergency procedures and shark diving information. We depart Palm Beach Saturday evening during sunset for our overnight cruise to "The Bahamas Islands". This a great time to sit back and drink a cocktail and meet your fellow divers, the next few days will be busy.
Day 2 Sunday
While your co-workers are drudging to work you will be shark diving with Tigers and perhaps a Hammerhead or two. This morning we awake on Scotts Tiger Beach and drop cages. The crew has been chumming since early morning. Tigers start arriving in the morning, typically we see anywhere from 1-5 sharks, and they are hungry. Tigers are different from Great Whites in many ways here we'll be in 15 feet of water with a sandy bottom. Cages float close to the surface and can drop to the bottom and we have Tigers chasing after hang baits right up to the cages.
Tiger Shark
The shark diving operation will last all day long with regular shark rotations and divers. If we feel like it or the action slows down divers can choose to run over to Muriel's Gardens where local populations of Caribbean Reef sharks swim close as you explore this reef. The game plan is to spend the entire day here where ever the shark action is the hottest. Note : Unlike Tigers, Caribbean Reef sharks and Lemon Sharks are considered a "safer" shark species. We do cage-less dives with these animals but always have a safety diver in place and do not chum on these dives. The encounters here are completely natural and occur because these reefs are pristine.
Day 3 Monday Tiger Shark Day
This is a full dive day with 2-5 dives including your first night dive (if you decide to). Wake up to breakfast onboard in the beautiful West End Grand Bahamas. As soon as Bahamas customs and immigration open at 9.00am your captain will get the paperwork completed, soon after we are on our way. This morning we will be heading north to the prime dive sites. One hour from customs we'll stop at the "Bull-Pen" it's a 60' dive with Caribbean Reef sharks, groupers, eagle rays. From there we go to colorful Hogfish reef, then to Sugar Wreck for an afternoon and a night dive. We frequently snorkel & dive with large friendly turtles on this ancient wreck that was once a 330' sailing vessel. Nighttime we anchor up in a calm area for overnight known locally as Dry Bar....it's only a short distance from our Tiger shark site.
Day 4 Tuesday
More sharking at Scotts Tiger Beach this morning. Divers will spend as much time as they like getting shots and encounter time with these animals. We'll be chumming all night long to keep interest high. This afternoon for a change of pace we are off to discover friendly Spotted Dolphins. These are wild dolphins who love to play and interact with divers and they congregate off the coast a few hours north. Dolphin encounters are snorkeling only, in 15-20 feet of water. The prime dolphin ground is an ocean paradise named 'White Sand Ridge'. Make sure you bring your fins along as these animals like to interact with the swimmers. We have an option to extend the dolphin encounter with lights for a night encounter or jump in on a night dive on a local reef the choice is yours by group consensus.

Golden Rules To Get Business Class Upgrade
How often you must have envied the people sitting in the business class of the flight while you would be struggling at the economy class? It is a fact that traveling in business class and first class is the most comfortable option in a flight. The History And Evolution Of The Easter Basket
Easter is a convergence of three traditions. 1) Pagan. According to the Venerable Bede, English historian of the early 8th century, the word is derived from the Norse Ostara or Eostre, meaning the festival of spring at the vernal equinox, March 21, when nature is in resurrection after winter. Hence, the rabbits, notable for their fecundity, and the eggs colored like rays of the returning sun and the northern lights or aurora borealis. 2) Hebrew. In Exodus XII we read of the night in Egypt when the angel if death “passed over “the dwellings of the Israelites, so sparing their first born. Hence, the Passover or Jewish Pesach, celebrated during Nisan, the first month of the Hebrew year. 3) Christian. It was at the feast of the Passover in Jerusalem that Jesus, a Jew, was crucified and rose from the dead. A name for Easter, therefore, is Pasch, in various spellings, and churches throughout the East and West celebrate Easter as a major feast ranking with Christmas, witness “the hot cross bun” or boon distributed among the faithful.
Spring or the Vernal equinox was an important time to ancient cultures, being dependent on their crops and livestock to live. They prayed to different Gods in hopes that their lands would be fertile. The Spring Equinox is when day and night become equal and that meant that the long winter was over and that spring and rebirth had arrived. A connection to Easter for these ancient religions is that the date is based upon astrologic signs. Easter occurs on the Sunday after the first full moon following Spring Equinox. This first moon was a sign to the farmers to plant their first seeds of the season.
Easter baskets grew out of the Christian observance of Lent, giving up meat, eggs and dairy. The custom of having a large Easter supper represents the end of the Lenten fast. In more ancient times, this feast was brought to the church in large baskets to be blessed by the Clergy. Hence the connection to Easter Baskets today. It is interesting to note that the Jewish tradition of Purim which takes place at this time of year, is also celebrated with the giving of food baskets, and has Queen Esther as the heroine of the Purim story. In the 1700s German children in North America would leave their caps and bonnets filled with straw outside overnight and find colored hard cooked eggs tucked inside in the morning. By the 1800s candy was commonly included in the baskets. Along with the renewal of the earth the idea of birth and rebirth, the egg became a symbol in the Christian Easter celebration and is still used today. Eggs were painted and decorated and given as gifts. As technology improved there were hollow eggs crafted from cardboard and were filled with smaller gifts.
Our Easter baskets have taken many of the traditions of the past, eggs, chicks, rabbits and grass, which all had symbolic meaning and created the colorful gifts for young and old that we have today. These baskets can be bought ready made or created at home. Easter Baskets have been made and given mainly to children in the past, but we are all still children at heart, and who would not love to receive their very own basket of goodies.? If it was filled with candies and fresh baked cookies it might even be shared! If you have someone special on your list that would like something more personal, a basket filled with toiletries and gifts with a few pastel covered chocolate eggs scattered around might be just what the Easter Bunny had in mind.

Discovered by the French public in 2001 through its interpretation of "J'ai tout oublié", which means I've forgotten everything a duet with Marc Lavoine, Cristina Marocco seduced the public by her soft voice and her dark eyes. Her album À côté du soleil was released a few months later. On this album, Lara Fabian wrote the song "Faire semblant". In 2008, she came out with her latest album, Je te dirais que tout est beau. In the clip of her new album, in the Le Parfum song, she plays a role as a housekeeper. With the marbled fireplace and beautiful moldings, the classic and chic atmosphere of the hotel, it manages to highlight the natural beauty of Cristina. Everything is so perfect! Her voice, her beauty and the setting, one of her best video in my opinion.

Kelly Clarkson – First American Idol Winner
Kelly Clarkson has not always had it easy, both pre and post Idol. Growing up in Burleson, Texas, she comes from a family of divorce and hardship. Working several jobs, she tried to stay afloat and make ends meet. Ironically, the very gift that changed her life was never her intention. Kelly Clarkson didn’t even know she could sing until she was in junior high school when the choir teacher overheard her singing. She originally wanted to be a marine biologist.
In 2002, Kelly entered a contest after returning home from L.A. not too long before that. She’d gone out to work with a hit songwriter, responsible for Aretha Franklin’s “Natural Woman.” However, he fell ill and could no longer work with her. The very day she moved into a new apartment, it caught fire while she went to eat. Living in her car for three days, she returned to Texas where her friend Jessica had given her the American Idol contest papers. Having auditioned in Dallas, she was accepted to the next round in Hollywood.
When Kelly Clarkson first appeared on American Idol, she had no real sense of style but her voice was as big as many out there and her personality lit up faces nationally each week on TV. Singing songs by artists such as Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Dionne Warwick, she never saw herself sitting in the bottom contestants while in the beginning, she was considered the underdog. On September 4th, 2002, Kelly Clarkson had become our American Idol. She released her winning song “A Moment Like This” and watched it soar up the charts, beating a record on the Billboard Hot 100 previously held by The Beatles for highest jump to No. 1.
In April of 2003, Kelly Clarkson released her debut record Thankful. The record saw moderate success as an Idol souvenir as well as an album to kick off an optimistic future in the recording industry. The album has sold over 2 million copies in the U.S. in part to her lead single “Miss Independent,” co-wrote by Christina Aguilera. The album combined pop elements with a more R&B style. What was about to happen no one saw coming nor took seriously until Kelly found herself as one of the top female vocalists in the world.
In November of 2004, Kelly released her sophomore effort Breakaway. The title, also a song that appeared in a movie, is appropriately titled for many reasons. Kelly had split with manager Simon Fuller in order to hire a company who would be there to help the budding superstar reach incredible heights. No hard feelings were left. The direction of the album had been changed dramatically to an edgy pop rock sound that allowed her thunderous voice to shine. She also had fought the label suites to include material penned by her as well. She had a lent her love for writing to the first record, however, more than half of the new record was penned by Clarkson herself, including hit singles “Behind These Hazel Eyes,” “Walk Away,” and “Because of You.” The latter being a song written at the age of 16 and was a song the record label, RCA, told her she couldn’t include on her first record. The album’s lead single “Since U Been Gone” rocked out radio and clubs nationwide and is to date her best selling single. Breakaway has sold 12 million copies worldwide and brought in her parent record label over $100 million in revenue.
With the success of the record come the perks. She embarked on several tours, three in 2005 alone. Two of the tours in the U.S. were sold out and her international world tour was a success as well. 2006 saw Kelly taking home two Grammy Awards and performing for her peers. She beat out some of music’s biggest names including Mariah Carey, Paul McCartney, Sheryl Crow and Gwen Stefani. Capitalizing on her success, she ventured out on yet another tour beginning June 30th to preview songs she’d like to include on her follow up to Breakaway. She’d reported that she would be ditching the bubblegum pop and would be writing and recording with her backing band. The idea was embraced largely by the public as she included new songs in each tour she’d written with someone in the band. However, the album that was supposed to be the most anticipated of 2007 turned out to be another one of music’s infamous turmoil challenges: the label vs. the artist.
Kelly Clarkson paired up with legendary David Kahne, responsible for songs such as “Manic Monday” and “Walk Like An Egyptian,” to produce her third studio effort. Co-writing over 50 songs, her team narrowed it down to 26 songs to record and kept 14 for the standard track listing. The album that would be called My December, took on a more mature, raw and emotional approach. During the Breakaway era, she’d worked herself to death, missing family and friends and having a hard time finding good people to surround herself with. Needless to say, the stress took its toll, including a relationship that ended shortly before the release of her second record. Dating producer and ex-guitarist of Evanescence David Hodges, she found herself being cheated on with his former girlfriend. He’d produced “Because of You,” “Addicted,” and a track that didn’t make the cut titled “Bleed For Me.” After he married the former flame two months after Clarkson found out, she penned the song “Never Again” that would become the lead single for her next record 2 ½ years later.
Turning in the material to her RCA label, they were not pleased with the record, especially legendary record producer Clive Davis, responsible for Whitney Houston, Pink Floyd, Janis Joplin, Hall and Oates and many more. Clarkson and her manager at the time were executive producers of the record and that didn’t sit well with Davis. He quickly dismissed the record as unsellable, he didn’t hear any hits and it wouldn’t sell more than 750,000 copies. Elvis and Priscilla were married May 1, 1967, nearly eight years after their courtship began. The wedding was private, and it was held at the Alladin Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Priscilla wore a beaded white gown and a veil. The veil was attached to her hair, which was styled in the popular "bee-hive" style. The veil was three feet long. Her hair was dyed black. On top of her hair sat a rhinestone crown. Elvis wore a black dinner suit that fit him quite well. Elvis had two best men, Marty Lacker and Joe Esposito. Priscilla's maid of honor was her sister Michelle. Elvis was thirty-two years old and Priscilla was twenty-one years old.
The ceremony was in the morning and lasted around eight. minutes. At the ceremony there was a small amount of guests. The ceremony was followed by a press conference. At the conclusion of the press conference, a breakfast reception was held. There were 100 guests in attendance for the reception. The cake was six-tiered. Their first dance as husband and wife was to the song "Love Me Tender."
After the wedding, the two left to honeymoon in Palm Springs, California to vacation for a few days. They stayed at 1350 Ladera Circle in a grand home. The location is now available for tours. You can even use it for your own honeymoon or wedding. Upon their arrival Elvis showed his romantic side by picking up Priscilla and carrying her over the threshold. While doing so, he sang "The Hawaiian Wedding Song."
The home that Elvis honeymooned at was leased by him for a year. Elvis' manager Tom Parker lived in the area and made the suggestion for Elvis to honeymoon here, because he thought it would be the perfect place for him to relax and enjoy the company of friends.
Famous Hollywood gossip columnist Rona Barrett lived nearby and became suspicious of a wedding when many family members arrived in Palm Springs on April 29, 1967. Rona made contact with the house maid and she was able to get confirmation that the two were set to be married May 1, 1967. She made an announcement on her nightly television show that the two were prepared to be married.
The two planned on having their wedding at the estate in Palm Springs. However, the media onslaught forced them to change their plans. The morning of the wedding, the two had to sneak out the back door of their estate and meet up with a limo on Rose Avenue. Upon arrival to Rose Avenue, there were limousines prepared to drive them and the wedding party to the airport.
Frank Sinatra loaned Elvis his private jet "Christina." By 4:00 a.m. the two had arrived and already obtained their marriage license. The actual wedding took place at 9:40 a.m. at the Alladin hotel in the owner's suite. On the same day, the couple left for their honeymoon, back in Palm Springs, California. Another point of interest is the fact that Lisa Marie, the first daughter of Elvis and Priscilla was born exactly nine months after the date of the honeymoon.

Why deviated septum surgery? And a better question who’s had the surgery. Before these questions can be answered effectively, a brief introduction into what a deviated septum is needs to be examined. The nasal septum is the area of the nose that separates the nasal passages. The septum is made up of both bone and cartilage.
A deviated septum is when that bone and cartilage of the nose is no longer straight. There are a few ways that a septum may deviate, one way is at birth. This type of deviation is called congenital.
Hollywood is full of actors and actresses that have gone under the knife to fix a deviated septum. There are many that have done it for the sake of looks and there are those that have needed them because of health reasons. What ever the reason the jury Is out on whether or not it has helped or hurt their career.
Some of the most notable actresses that have gone under the knife to get their noses worked on are most recently Jennifer Anniston , and Cameron Diaz. The cliché of the marijuana smoker is that of a couch potato, a student or an aging hippy, but like most clichés this one has little substance to it. Marijuana seed growers and smokers have long known that fans of marijuana come from all walks of life – even including a surprising number of champion sports players.
Gold medal swimmer Michael Phelps has been dragged over the coals for his recent exposure as a marijuana smoker, but he joins a long line of top level sportsmen and women who have undergone a highly public encounter with the substance. Here are five sportsmen and women (including Phelps) who have been outed as smokers and lived to tell the tale…
Michael Phelps
The Scandal: Michael Phelps is the latest sports star to fall foul of a paparazzo’s snapping camera. Having won a record breaking 8 gold medals at the Beijing Olympics, he faced widespread criticism when the News of the World released pictures of him smoking a marijuana bong. He wasn’t in training at the time the photo was taken, but his standing as an All American hero combined with his marijuana use has ignited fierce debate over what kind of punishment he should face, if any.
The Recovery: Too soon to say what the long term damage to his career and reputation will be. He has been banned from competition for three months, and Kelloggs have withdrawn their sponsorship (and have put themselves on a pot smoker’s boycott list – stay away from those corn flakes while high!) but it doesn’t look like he’ll be facing a serious long term ban. I don’t suppose he’ll be touching so much as a marijuana seed for a good long while!
Jennifer Capriati
The Scandal: Tennis prodigy Jennifer Capriati, who won an Olympic Gold Medal and a raft of singles titles before turning 18, went off the rails spectacularly in 1994. Arrested for shoplifting and marijuana possession, she then did not play for almost two years, fuelling speculation that her professional career was over before she had even turned 20.
The Recovery: Capriati took her time to recover but eventually managed to return in style, becoming world number 1 in 2001 and winning three Grand Slams along the way. Now plagued by injury, her future is uncertain, but she is firmly established a legacy as one of the top female players of recent years.
Shinichi Suzukawa AKA Wakakirin
The Scandal: Sumo has been rocked by a number of scandals in recent years, from match fixing to doping, but the latest scandal involves a Japanese wrestler who fights under the ring name Wakakirin. Wakakirin (real name Shinichi Suzukawa) has recently been permanently barred from competing after being arrested for marijuana possession. While the drug isn’t classed as a performance enhancer, sumo wrestlers are expected to dress and live in an austere and ritualised fashion, and the incident has scandalised the sumo wrestling administration.
Speculation that marijuana fuelled munchies may have played a part in crafting Wakakirin’s sumo physique are, at the time of writing, unproven….
The Recovery: Unfortunately for Wakakirin, a recovery doesn’t look likely. He has been dismissed from the sport, and barring some kind of miracle recall, it doesn’t look like he will wrestle professionally again. On the bright side, he hasn’t been expelled (which would have denied him retirement pay)…which is a recovery of sorts…
Ross Rebagliati
The Scandal: Canadian snowboarder Ross Rebagliati had to suffer the ultimate indignation that can be experienced by a sports star – after winning Olympic Gold at the 1998 Winter Olympics he was stripped of his medal when marijuana was discovered in his system.
The Recovery: Interestingly, the ruling was quickly overturned and the medal returned Rebagliati to on the grounds that marijuana a) wasn’t on the list of banned substances and b) wasn’t classed as a performance enhancing drug. Indeed, someone who can win Olympic Gold whilst in any way under the influence of marijuana probably deserves another medal of a different kind!
Damon Stroudamire
The Scandal: Skilled basketball player Damon Stroudamire, nicknamed “Mighty Mouse”, kept hitting the headlines for various marijuana related incidents whilst playing for the Portland Trail Blazers (who unfortunately became know as the Jail Blazers when Stroudamire was playing for them, due to numerous discipline and drug issues.) After his third arrest for marijuana possession in 2003, he was fined a quarter of a million dollars and banned for three months.
The Recovery: Stroudamire went through a 90 day rehabilitation program after his suspension. He also struck a deal with a journalist, that he would provide a urine sample at any point in the season that the journalist nominated. He went on to have one of his best ever seasons, and took the journalist’s test half way through to negative results.
So, unless you are a Japanese sumo wrestler, it seems that marijuana isn’t too damaging in the long term to your career – and that it is more widespread in the sporting world than anyone would normally think…
